What is SATA?
SATA was established in 1997 and is a national body representing the Unani-Tibb Profession in healthcare delivery and education. SATA is the eleventh Profession of the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa(AHPCSA), for which the register was officially opened in September 2007.
Currently there are more than 150 qualified Unani-Tibb practitioners in Southern Africa.
The primary focus of SATA is the promotion and support of Unani-Tibb practitioners and students registered with the Association, and acts in the interests of its members on all matters relating to Tibb.
